PJ's Upsets Legion of Doom for Fall
'07 Championship |
|
After losing to Legion of Doom 14-4 during regular season
play. PJ's Sports put together a blue-collar effort and won
the Fall 2007 Championship Game 10-8 over a talented LOD
squad. LOD led most of the game but some key scoring
and a strong defensive effort gave PJ's back the West Cup. |

Bear Army Takes Summer '07 Title |

Behind a strong performance from goalie Mike Rill, Bear Army
defeated defending champion PJ's Sports 11-10 for the summer
MABLL title. |

Arlington/PJ Sports Makes It A 3-Peat |
|
Arlington Lacrosse Club, sponsored by PJ Sports, won its 3rd
consecutive MABLL title by defeating Bear Army 15-4 on Feb.
17th for the Winter Season Championship. |

Arlington/PJ Sports Wins Fall Title |

Arlington showed in force against a short-handed Great Falls
team and posted a convincing 11-3 win to claim there second
straight title. |

Arlington Wins Summer Title in OT |
|
In a strongly
contested championship game, Arlington squeaked out a close
15-14 overtime win over a tough Bear Army squad. Bear
Army got off to a strong start going up 3-0 before Arlington
scored their first goal of the game. Bear Army
maintained a 2-3 goal lead throughout much of the game until
Arlington twice pulled its goalie for a 6th attacker late in
the 3rd period to tie the game. Forward Ryan Donahue
scored both goals to send the game in to overtime.
Arlington finished the period with a power play that carried
over 1:53 in to the overtime period.
After winning the
initial possession in overtime, Arlington set up its power
play offense. Bear Army goalie Mike Rill made a strong
save and sent his team on a breakaway to the opposing
net. Arlington's goalie made the save and initiated a
breakaway to Ramar Clash who scored the game winning goal.
