Welcome to the Metro Area Box Lacrosse
League

Welcome to the premier box lacrosse league in the
Washington, DC area. The MABLL offers "real"
box lacrosse for players over the age of 18.
"Real" box lacrosse includes the use of small
goals (4x4.5), padded goalies, all short-sticks and is
played on a hockey rink. Our home arena is THE BOX
Inline hockey arena located in Chantilly, Virginia. Sign

Legion Of Doom Makes It Two Straight
Behind a stellar goaltending performance from Mike Rill, allowing only 3 goals,
Legion of Doom captured it second straight MABLL Open Championship defeating
archrival PJ's Sports, 9-3. The win avenges a regular season win by PJ's
and solidifies LOD as the top team.
Doom played a very smart game putting 49 shots on goal but also controlling
the tempo. Defensively, Todd Rassas and Josh "Rock" Rachman kept the PJ's
offense in check and minimizing good shots by the opponent. Overall, a
very well-played and spound game plan gave LOD the win. |
